Banking on a future for fishermen
CCCHFA launched the Cape Cod Fisheries Trust to guarantee fishermen an opportunity to make their living on local waters and still afford to live here. With fishermen facing skyrocketing costs for fishing permits, the trust will purchase permits for a permit bank and, in turn, offer affordable lease partnerships to qualifying fishermen. [read more]
