Meet the Fleet
Join CCCHFA and local fishermen to learn the ins and outs of our fishing industry and how important it is to our cultural heritage and local economy. Each month is a different topic, some with seafood samples!

The New (England) Conch Republic – April 30, 5:30 p.m.
Conch makes most people think of the Florida Keys and conch fritters, but New England conch (actually channeled whelk) has become an important part of local fishermen's livelihoods. Learn more from fisherman Jamie Eldredge and others, then tune in to WOMR DJ and Terra Luna chef “Tony Scungilli” Pasquale from Truro. Scungilli means conch in Italian, and Tony will share tips on how to prepare this local delicacy.

Join CCCHFA and local fishermen for a delicious 4-course wine and seafood pairing dinner. Includes Scallop, Littlenecks, and Monkfish.
Summer Kick -Off
June 25, 6:30 p.m.
Bring your family and celebrate the start of summer with local fishermen, businesses and friends. Learn directly from fishermen about life on the water and the seafood they bring to shore. Enjoy a reception on our front lawn with delicious locally sourced seafood, BBQ and beverages. Fishermen talk from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at Meet the Fleet; reception starts at 6:30.
