Eric Brazer, Jr.

Sector Manager

“Sectors afford fishermen the opportunity to balance the needs of the environment with the needs of their fishing businesses and the needs of their community.”

Eric Brazer first joined the CCCHFA team as a summer intern in 2004, and returned a year later as a full time staff member. As the Sector Manager, he oversees the daily activities of all Sector members, provides monthly quota reports to NMFS, and acts as a liaison between the fishermen and federal regulators.

Eric grew up in a small fishing village in Maine, lobstering and harpooning bluefin tuna. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies from Brown University and a Masters in Coastal Environmental Management from Duke University.
