Run Falmouth for Fish & Fishermen!
Congratulations to our 2018 Falmouth Road Race team in our inaugural debut in this year’s iconic 7-mile seaside race on Saturday, August 19. Collectively, the team of nine raised more than $13,000 for the Fishermen’s Alliance, a huge success for our first-time participating! Our profound thanks to team members Andy Brennan, Colin Bannon, Francesca Derteano, Kathleen Giorgio, Lizzie Lane, Jim Nelson, Shawn Szturma, Chris Ruez and our very own colleague Christa Danilowicz for participating, fundraising and crossing the finish line. A special shout-out to Chris Ruez who ran a remarkable race in 42:20 (a 6-minute mile!) and to Lizzie Lane for being our top fundraiser raising nearly $3,200! We extend a very special thank you to team coach Caroline Lane for all of her efforts in supporting our race team.
Stay tuned for more information next spring if you’re interested in joining our 2019 Falmouth Road Race charity team.
