Tim Linnell

Tim Linnell has been fishing in Chatham his whole life. He bought his boat, F/V Perry's Pride II, in 2000, and spends the winter and spring gillnetting for monkfish and skates. In the summer, he adds dogfish to the mix and brings his sons Sam and Jonas along as crew.
"Monkfish has become one of the top five species we land in Chatham, given the decline of groundfish like cod and haddock. The fish are plentiful, and the fishery is a stable and profitable one for the local fleet."
