“My roots run deep in the sand of Cape Cod and I’m proud to play a role in supporting the Fishermen’s Alliance. I look forward to engaging our local leaders and businesses to protect our oceans and build a better future for our fishing community.”
Catherine joined the Fishermen’s Alliance in August 2018. Through her work at the Arts Foundation of Cape and Cod, Cape Cod Young Professionals and Cape Cod Academy, she realized how rewarding it was to assist a nonprofit organization in exceeding its goals and fulfilling its mission. She has had the great honor of working with dedicated and passionate professionals that share her commitment to support the nonprofit sector on Cape Cod and looks forward to contributing to the Fishermen’s Alliance.
Catherine was adopted from Lima, Peru as a baby and raised on Cape Cod. After graduating from Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School in 2009 she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Endicott College in 2013. Most recently, Catherine was a recipient of the 2018 Cape & Plymouth Business’ 40 Under 40 Award. She is a CCYP Giving Circle Donor that kickstarted her professional development by graduating from the CCYP Mentor Exchange Year II program in May 2016, and the Community Leadership Institute of Cape Cod & the Islands (CLI) Leadership Cape Cod program in June 2016. She joined the CLI Board of Directors in October 2017, and the Housing Assistance Corporation (HAC) Board of Directors in April 2018. She enjoys chairing the Harwich Big Fix event presented by HAC, and volunteering for the Philanthropy Partners of the Cape & Islands Philanthropy Day Marketing Committee.
